Glitter & Gold Gala returns for prom season

Following a successful inaugural event last year, North Belle Vernon’s Jazzy Boutique will host its second Glitter & Gold Gala next week.
With prom season approaching, boutique owner Diann Donaldson wants to ensure every Mid-Mon Valley student has the chance to celebrate in style.
“The girls can expect a phenomenal, magical evening,” Donaldson said. “To be there — it will bring you to your knees at the end of the night, because it’s so rewarding.”
Last year, volunteers gave away 182 free prom gowns to Belle Vernon Area students. This year, Donaldson said, the free event is open to all Mid-Mon Valley school districts and beyond.
