EF finds way to top Vikings

Coming off an emotional and hard fought win against rival Belle Vernon Area and heading into a key three-game homestand, Elizabeth Forward girls basketball coach Krystal Gibbs is looking for consistency from her team. 

“Heading into the playoffs it doesn’t matter, you have to come every game ready to give that 110 percent,” she said.

The Warriors might not have given 110 percent Thursday night, but fortunately whatever percentage they gave was enough. 

Visiting Mt. Pleasant was able to force EF into several turnovers but could not capitalize in a 62-47 Warrior win in Section 3-4A play.
