Arthur F. Farrier, 88 of Lover, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2019, in the Mon Valley Care Center. He was born Feb. 2, 1930, in Masontown, the son of the late William and Mary Farrier. Mr. Farrier served in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He was a former member of Grace United Methodist Church in Coal Center and the Charleroi American Legion Post No. 22. Mr. Farrier retired from Columbia Gas Co. with 30 years of service. He is survived by his wife, Pamela Watts Farrier; two sons, Gerald Farrier of Eighty-Four and Paul Farrier and wife Carolyn of Speers Hill; one brother, Carl Ferrier of South Carolina; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Mr. Farrier is preceded in death by his son, Michael Farrier. There will be no public visitation. The family would like to especially thank the staff at the Mon Valley Care Center for their helpful and caring professionalism.
