Frazier boys basketball coach Zach Keefer said he expected Tuesday’s Section 4-(3A) game against host Southmoreland to be a tough one, and he was right.

The Commodores and Scotties treated fans to a contest that was close from start to finish, with Southmoreland using good foul shooting and a high-scoring effort from Riley Comforti to post the 71-65 win.

The Scotties sank 15 of 18 free throws, of which Comforti made eight on his way to a game-high 33 points.

He was joined in double figures by Cade Richter, who scored 14 points, and Zach Cernuto, who finished with 12.
