MVAA expanding to Donora

Mon Valley residents will be able to soak up even more entertainment this summer.
The Mon Valley Academy for the Arts announced Sunday that it will be increasing its musical outreach by expanding a summer concert series solely held at Chess Park in Monongahela to include performances at Palmer Park in Donora.
The move is made possible in part by a $20,000 EQT Foundation grant that the organization has received for three consecutive years.
President Mark Smith said the grants have helped the organization, which was established in 2015, achieve its goal of doubling its outreach.
