Greyhounds top Maples to win second straight game

For the first time in over four years, the Monessen girls basketball team has won consecutive games.
The Greyhounds knocked off host Mapletown, 44-38, behind 12 points from Kendelle Weston.
With the win, the Greyhounds (3-10, 3-3) have moved into fourth place and the final playoff spot in Section 2-A.
Kelsi Smith led the Maples (5-7, 2-4) with 13 points.
