The Ringgold hockey team will be well represented at this year’s PIHL Division 2 All-Star game, which will be held at noon Jan. 27 at the Robert Morris University Island Sports Center in Pittsburgh.
The Rams have six players who were named to the Division 2 all-star team last week – forwards Noah Schroeder, Justin Day, Brad Bujdos and Zach Kalinowski, defenseman Ryan Marek and goaltender Evan Cook.
It is the second consecutive all-star selection for Schroeder and Cook while the other four players will play in the annual event for the first time.
“I am very proud of these boys and of the work they put in on a regular basis,” Ringgold head coach Rick Kalinowski said. “This is an excellent example of how hard work pays off. We have a lot of talent on this year’s team and we could have sent eight players to the all-star game. This is the first time in years that Ringgold has had this many players in the all-star game.
