7 hurt in weekend crashes
By the MV Independent
Seven people were taken to area hospitals following two crashes in the Mid-Mon Valley this weekend.
Three people suffered injuries in a two-vehicle accident near Bill’s Golfland on Route 51 Sunday afternoon.
The two drivers, Charles Krasonic of West Newton and William Hartzog of Webster, were taken by ambulance to area hospitals.
Krasonic’s passenger, Ethel Krasonic, was listed in “trauma arrest” at the scene and was flown to a trauma center in Pittsburgh from Rostraver Airport. Trauma cardiac arrest typically means the person is unresponsive. The passenger had to be mechanically extricated from the car.
