Summer shows to continue at Aquatorium

Aquatorium Innovations intends to hold its sixth annual Rockin’ on the Mon summer concert series this year.
Concerns that the Monongahela nonprofit may not be able to continue were aired by organization member and city Councilwoman Claudia Williams during a December council meeting.
Williams presented a year-end report to members of council showing that the group ended the year with a significant deficit. Williams said at the time that she wasn’t sure if the concerts would continue or not.
In a press release distributed by city solicitor Todd Pappasergi Thursday evening, the nonprofit attributed concerns about continuation of the program to the “growing pains” of staging bigger, better shows with larger crowds.
