Emma Nilson flirted with a triple double and Serra Catholic remained unbeaten in section play with a convincing 64-34 win over section foe Riverview Thursday.
Nilson was dominant on the interior, scoring 10 points, ripping down 13 rebounds and blocking eight shots. She played both sides of the ball well and gave the Raiders an edge inside the entire night.
“Emma just played a phenomenal game tonight for us. Grabbing rebounds, blocking shots and altering shots,” Serra head coach Bill Cleary said.
“The one thing we preach is to make them one shot and out, and when we’re able to do that, it starts our break. I thought she did a phenomenal job with that tonight.
