Monongahela City Council will ask PennDOT how to fix an ongoing parking problem on Fourth Street.

During a workshop meeting Monday morning, Mayor Bob Kepics and Councilman Rusty Polonoli said they’ve received complaints about a large truck with a 25-foot flatbed trailer parking on the side of the road.

Kepics said efforts are under way to find the driver and ask him to park the vehicle elsewhere.

“Under our parking ordinance, there is a section that says on any Monongahela street or highway, you can’t park campers, trailers or tractor trailers on the roadway,” police Chief Brian Tempest said.
