Gerald A. “Jerry” Pellegrini, 78 of Monongahela, Fallowfield Township, died Sunday, Jan. 6, 2019, in Monongahela Valley Hospital. Born July 1, 1940, in Monongahela, he was the son of Angelo and Jennie Greco Pellegrini. Jerry was a 1958 graduate of Monongahela High School. He retired as the supervisor for Washington County Parking Garages. He was one of the founding fathers of the Fallowfield Township Athletic Association and was an active supporter of his children’s and grandchildren’s activities. Jerry was also a well-known Cougars fan in the Charleroi sports community and a member of St. Damien of Molokai Parish in Monongahela. Surviving are his wife of 52 years, Peggy Auth Pellegrini, whom he married July 2, 1966; a son and daughter-in-law, Jamie and Antonia Pellegrini of Speers; two daughters and sons-in-law, Tiffany and William Payne of Fallowfield Township and Bethany and Dennis J. Logan of Charleroi; 11 grandchildren, Michael Garrow III, Geno, Dominic, Nikko, Gianni and Gabriella Pellegrini, Brennan and Tegan Payne and Kambri, Ryder and Max Logan; and a brother, Ronald Pellegrini of Monongahela. Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial Mass beginning at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 11, 2019, at St. Damien of Molokai Parish, Monongahela, with the Rev. Kevin Dominik as celebrant.
