Joseph N. Bongiorno, 72, of Fallowfield Township, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 5, 2019. Born on Aug. 12, 1946, he was a son to the late Joseph and Mary Elias Bongiorno. He was a retired construction foreman with 18 Karat Inc. Joe is survived by his son, Nick Bongiorno, and wife Marisa of Monessen; daughter, Michelle Antal of Washington; granddaughters, Courtney, Riley, Morgan, Mia and Jordan; sisters, Lillian Monack and Dolores Karpiak and husband Lloyd, all of Fallowfield Township; nieces and nephews, Chelsey Osborne, Mary Jo and Mitch Panich, Mary Karpiak, Mark and Laura Karpiak and Shawn Monack; and his little buddy, Joey. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his wife of 41 years, Kathy Bongiorno, in 2015, and sister, Joanne Moody. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. with services at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 8, at CARL J. SPALLINO FUNERAL HOME, 819 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi, Joseph A. Lopez, funeral director.
