Sunday breakfast to benefit firefighter with cancer

When Glenn Wagner was diagnosed with leukemia in October, one thing was certain: He was not in his fight alone.
The captain of Gallatin Sunnyside Volunteer Fire Department, Wagner, 56, lives in Forward Township with his wife, Stacy, and owns and operates Wagner’s Restaurant in Elizabeth Township.
He also has two grown sons, Brandon and Derek, but his family runs much deeper than blood.
D.J. Newman, assistant chief at Gallatin Sunnyside, said following the diagnosis there was no question that his “brothers” would want to help him in any way they could.
