MAWC promotes health benefits of drinking more water

The Municipal Authority of Westmoreland County is encouraging its customers to make a New Year’s resolution to drink more water.
MAWC is partnering with Illinois-based Water Quality Products to let customers know that drinking water promotes better health.
MAWC is also encouraging customers who prefer bottled water to use tap water and a reusable container to save money and have less of an impact on the environment.
Along with the festivities surrounding the holiday season, many Americans typically adopt New Year’s resolutions that they think will help them lead a healthier or more productive life, MAWC said.
These resolutions tend to center around health — diet, exercise, quitting smoking and cutting down on alcohol.
