Two Mid-Mon Valley schools were on lockdown Friday morning after a Monessen man fled the scene of an accident involving a stolen car.
Carroll Township police Chief Paul Brand said his department received multiple calls at 8:15 a.m. that a vehicle crashed on Coyle Curtin Road and that the driver, later identified as 35-year-old Job Matthew Hill, was running away from the scene.
He was described as a tall man with dark hair and a gray hoodie.
Brand said Carroll Township Volunteer Fire Department cleared the crash and no injuries were reported.
