Carroll Township man accused of child pornography possession

A Carroll Township man accused of possessing more than 20 videos depicting child pornography is behind bars.
Chris R. Schibik, 51, of Nantucket Road is charged with 10 counts each of dissemination of photos/film of child sex acts, child pornography and criminal use of a communication facility.
He was arraigned 11:30 a.m. Thursday before Magisterial District Judge Mark Wilson in Monongahela and placed in the Washington County Correctional Facility in lieu of $25,000 bond.
Trooper Thomas Maloney, a computer crime investigator with the state police, said Corp. John J. Sours was conducting an undercover investigation on the internet sharing of child pornography in November.
