By obits

Betty M. Barella, 95, of Rostraver Township, passed away at home on Thursday, Jan. 3, 2019. Born Feb. 3, 1923, in Roscoe, she was a daughter of the late Alfred and Teresa Lucas Malmgren. Betty joins her husband of 62 years, the late William E. Barella Sr., who passed away Oct. 26, 2010. She is survived by her children, Marianne (Allan) Green and William E. (Virginia) Barella Jr., both of Rostraver Township; her grandchildren, Shane (Rebekah) Green, Sunny (Dave) Davis and Dante and Dakota Barella; her great-grandchildren, Landon and Marlee Davis and Isabella Green; and also nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at A.J. BEKAVAC FUNERAL HOME, 555 Fifth St., Clairton, PA 15025, 412-233-5700, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 4, 2019. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 5, 2019, with Pastor Brent Furlong officiating.
