Postage rate hike proposed

Mailing services could see a hike in prices this year.

The United States Postal Service filed a notice with the Postal Regulatory Commission several weeks ago of changes, that would  take effect Jan. 27 if they are approved.

The moves, already approved by the governors of the Postal Service, would increase the cost of mailing services by about 2.5 percent.
