Laura M. Pankiewicz – Belle Vernon

Laura M. Pankiewicz, 94, of Belle Vernon, died Monday, Nov. 26, 2018 in Westmoreland Manor. Born in Fairhope, on May 6, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Steve and Helen Dobosh. A homemaker, Laura was a member of St. Sebastian Catholic Church and the PNA of Arnold City. She is survived by her sons, Joseph Pankiewicz of Belle Vernon, Leonard Pankiewicz of Las Vegas, Nev., Randolph (Suzanne) Pankiewicz of Belleville, Ill., and Ronald (Kim) Pankiewicz of Belle Vernon; daughter-in-law, Kathy Pankiewicz of Monessen; grandchildren, Brandon Pankiewicz (Lindsay Corbo), Lauren Pankiewicz, Ryan Pankiewicz (Rachael Guest), Aaron (Alexa) Pankiewicz, Shellie (Thomas) Payne and Dawn Pankiewicz; and great-grandchildren, Christian, Justin and Dylan Payne. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Pankiewicz, in 1974; and siblings, John, Mary, Stanley and Nellie. Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 11, 2019, at JAMES C. STUMP FUNERAL HOME INC., 580 Circle Drive, Rostraver Township, 724-929-7934, www.jamesstumpfuneralhome.com. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 12, 2019, at St. Sebastian Church, Belle Vernon.
