Eva Giannini – Charleroi
Eva Giannini, 99, of Charleroi, died on Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2019, in Mon Valley Hospital. Born in Monessen on Sept. 21, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Mary Galuppo. She was a member of Epiphany of Our Lord Roman Catholic Church. She retired from Magura Sewing Factory and Brookville Manufacturing. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roland P. Giannini; four sisters, Linda Bieneck, Martha Frow Dubansky, Hilda Van Kulich and Alba Nallion; and one brother, David Galuppo. Eva is survived by one sister and brother-in-law, Ruth and Anthony “Chick” Trozzo of Monessen; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Friends will be received from 11 a.m. to noon Saturday at ROBERT A. BILLICK FUNERAL HOME INC., Grand Boulevard and Marion Avenue, Monessen, www.billicksfuneralhome.com. Funeral services will held in the funeral home at noon Saturday with Father Michael Crookston officiating. Interment will be held in Mon Valley Memorial Park.
