Jeremy David Ohler – Donora

Jeremy David Ohler, 40, of Donora, formerly of Berlin, Pa., went to be with the Lord Dec. 31, 2018, surrounded by family, friends and caring nurses. He was born July 10, 1978, in Steamboat Springs, Colo., son of Roger A. “Rocky” and Patricia Countryman Ohler. He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Paul and Marie Leydig Countryman, and his paternal grandfather, Leo L. Ohler. He is survived by his parents, Roger and Patricia Ohler of Berlin; brothers, Brad Kreinbrook and Jonathan Ohler (Penny Kelly); sister, Angela (David) Fullard; nephews, Jacob and Luke; niece, Brooke; paternal grandmother, Esther F. Ohler; special great aunt, Katie Countryman Bell; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins; cherished girlfriend, Savanna Haney and her daughter, Aubree Prout; special friends, Mykel Haney and Jimmie Cochran and families; fur friends, Dee-Oh-Gee and Biscuit. He was a 1996 graduate of Berlin Brothersvalley High School and a graduate of Rosedale Technical College, employed by Big G Tires and Auto Services of Monongahela, a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Berlin, Pa., and the NRA. Jeremy will be missed for his expert car advice and for his proud support of the NRA, the Second Amendment and the right to vote. He was also known for his big heart, caring for neighbors and loved ones, his quick wit and sense of humor. Guided by his strong faith, Jeremy fought a courageous battle with brain cancer for two years. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday and from 10 a.m. until the service at 11 a.m. Saturday at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 525 Main St., Berlin, PA 15530, with the Rev. Nila Cogan and the Rev. Dr. David Williams officiating. Arrangements are entrusted to Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin, Pa.
