Defense carries B-C past Frazier

Defense wins championships and it was crucial in helping Beth-Center pick up its second win of the California University Holiday Hoopfest Tournament, a 48-39 victory over Frazier Friday afternoon. 

“We had preached defense earlier today and said that we needed to make sure it was a great job on the defensive end,” Bulldogs coach Steve Beyer said. “We had to limit them to one and done, and I thought we did a great job that we didn’t give up any offensive rebounds in the first half.
