Soldier surprises student pen pals

While home for the holidays, soldier Carly Rock paid a surprise visit to her pint-sized pen pals at Monessen Elementary Center.
A 2018 Monessen High School graduate, Rock joined the U.S. Army National Guard in March and left for basic training in Fort Jackson, S.C., in August — one month before her 18th birthday.
