Last season, the Ringgold boys basketball team won three games all season.
It won a game at the beginning and end of December 2017 and won its season finale in February, ending a 13-game losing streak.
Five games into the new campaign, the Rams have already surpassed last season’s win total.
Ringgold took a commanding lead early and overcame a late surge by Charleroi to claim a 55-48 victory in a nonsection tilt Wednesday night.
The Rams (4-1) led 16-1 after one quarter before the Cougars bounced back, outscoring the home team, 47-39, in the final 24 minutes of play.
