White Oak property owners will have to wait until month’s end to find out if they’ll see a real estate tax hike.
During a Monday meeting, borough manager John Palyo announced council will hold a special meeting 7 p.m. Dec. 27 to adopt the 2019 budget.
A proposed budget is expected to be revealed at Monday’s regular meeting. Council’s finance committee will meet this week to hash out the final plan.
Once it’s approved, the proposed budget will be on display at the borough building for 10 days.
Council and Palyo did not offer any details for what is being budgeted for 2019, or what residents should expect in regards to property taxes.
