More ground will soon be flying at Atla Vista Business Park in Fallowfield Township.
On Monday, Mon Valley Alliance announced the sale of a more than 12-acre lot to Apex International to consruct its new North American operations facility.
Apex International is a global leader in anilox, glue set and metering products as well as print maintenance solutions, according to the company.
Apex North America, a division of Apex International, chose Alta Vista Business Park for several key reasons including access to regional and national transportation from I-70, I-79 and I-76.
The shovel-ready site, which is currently designated as a Keystone Opportunity Zone (KOZ), provides access to a manufacturing based workforce in the Mon Valley.
Companies located in the business park will pay almost no state or local taxes until the KOZ expires in 2023.
