Students’ Christmas projects enter the age of technology

The days of children simply cutting snowflakes out of white paper or creating homemade clay as Christmas ornaments are over at Elizabeth Forward’s Mt. Vernon Elementary.
Implementation of the new “tinker lab” at the beginning of the school year gave students the opportunity to create ornaments using specialized technology in an environment that embraces the maker movement.
