A Fallowfield Township man who allegedly broke the hand of a state trooper and injured several others who were attempting to take him into custody earlier this month was ordered to stand trial in Washington County Court.
Robert Samuel Lee Bailey, 34, of Bentleyville Road, waived his right to a preliminary hearing Thursday on charges of five counts of aggravated assault, seven counts each of simple assault and harassment and one count each of strangulation, terroristic threats, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct. Charges were filed by state police Nov. 13 after he allegedly choked and threatened to kill his girlfriend during a domestic incident.
