Charleroi plant to get $16M upgrade

Moments after receiving a prestigious accolade Thursday, Correlle Brands announced a $16 million project to upgrade the World Kitchen facility in Charleroi.

Corelle Brands was one of three companies recognized with a Governor’s Award for Safety Excellence. The award recognizes employer-employee safety programs based on criteria such as workplace safety data, companies’ innovation and strategic development of safety policies and approaches and an on-site evaluation.
