Charleroi to buy metal detectors for schools

The Charleroi Area School District is taking another step toward school safety thanks to a grant from the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency.

Under the Governor’s School Safety and Security Program, the $25,000 grant was awarded earlier this month and will be used to increase safety measures throughout the district by purchasing metal detectors.
