Warning issued over hepatitis A

On the heels of the Allegheny County Health Department advising the public of an outbreak of hepatitis A in the Greater Pittsburgh area, the state Secretary of Health announced Monday that there is an outbreak of the disease statewide.
Secretary of Health Dr. Rachel Levine alerted Pennsylvanians of a significant increase in the number of Hepatitis A cases being reported across the state, as other outbreaks are occurring across the country.
