UPMC McKeesport unveils its new courtyard entrance

In all its years perched along the hillside on Evans Avenue, UPMC Mc-Keesport has never had a main entrance, according to administrators.
From the time the hospital was a Victorian-style building known as “The Old Main,” and “The Castle on The Hill,” through its years as McKeesport Hospital and now as UPMC McKeesport, doctors, staff and patients say the facility has never had a central point of access and direction, and it has often left visitors and guests puzzled as to how to navigate the many buildings of the campus.
