Cook appears headed to victory

While there are still a few steps to go before a winner is officially announced in the race for the state House’s 49th Legislative District, it appears incumbent Rep. Bud Cook has maintained his lead.

Cook, R-West Pike Run Township, was up by 109 votes against Steve Toprani, D-Monongahela, after all precincts reported on election night.
