St. Spyridon marks centennial celebration

More than 150 congregants and guests returned to Monessen last weekend for St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Church’s Centennial Celebration.

After more than a year of planning, the three-day festivities kicked off Nov. 2 with a Reunion Glendi, which featured live music by Panigiri and dancing, and offered old friends a chance to reminisce.
