Barrett leads Cal U over West Liberty

After nearly two years away from California University’s lineup, Seairra Barrett admits she was nervous heading into the Vulcans’ season opener Saturday evening.

However, the redshirt senior, who missed all of last season due to injury, put those nerves at ease rather quickly, scoring a team-high 41 points in an 84-68 victory over West Liberty on the first day of the Mountain East Conference/Pennsylvania State Conference Challenge at the Convocation Center.
