Three Monessen police officers honored for life-saving actions

Three Monessen police officers were recognized Thursday for their heroic actions following an Oct. 28 accident.

Lt. Dave Yuhasz and part-time officers Dominic and Gino Faieta received proclamations issued by Mayor Matt Shorraw, which state that the men “went above and beyond the call of duty” in helping to “save the life” of a woman from a burning vehicle.
