Marion students express thanks to area veterans

Around two dozen veterans who either live in the Mon Valley or have children, grandchildren or family friends who attend Marion Elementary were invited to attend the school’s annual Veterans Appreciation Day program Thursday.

The entire student body at Marion, which is in the Belle Vernon Area school district, participated in the event.
