Walsh bests Popovich in 58th District

Incumbent state Rep. Justin Walsh, R-Rostraver Township, retained his 58th Legislative District seat in Tuesday’s general election, with a win over Democrat Mary Popovich.

The Westmoreland County district includes the Mid-Mon Valley communities of Monessen, North Belle Vernon, Rostraver Township, Sewickley Township, Smithton, Sutersville and West Newton.
