Jewish community to mark anniversary of Kristallnacht

McKeesport native Lauren Bairnsfather, director of the Holocaust Center of Pittsburgh, is calling on Mon Valley residents to join the Pittsburgh Jewish community in celebrating the religion’s heritage.

To commemorate the 80th anniversary of Kristallnacht, the Holocaust Center of Pittsburgh will present the music and stories of “The Children of Willesden Lane,” in partnership with Classrooms Without Borders. The performance will take place at 7 p.m. Nov. 12 at at the Byham Theater in Pittsburgh.
