Safety grants will benefit area schools

More safety grant money is headed to school districts in the Mon Valley.

State Sen. Jim Brewster, D-McKeesport, a member of the state School Safety and Security Committee, announced this week that several schools in the Mon Valley will be receiving $25,000 grants aimed at keeping schools safe.
