Interest in science soars with chance to fly drones

The gymnasium at the Charleroi Area Middle/High School was buzzing on Wednesday, but not just for gym class.

Sixth grade students at Charleroi Area Middle School were getting up to speed — and soaring — on the evolving use of technology by learning to fly mini-drones as part of their physical science curriculum.
