SSHE chancellor remains optimistic

When Dr. Daniel Greenstein became the fifth chancellor of Pennsylvania’s State System of Higher Education on Sept. 4, he was aware of the many problems within the system but didn’t mind taking them on.
Greenstein will work with the Board of Governors to recommend and develop overall policies for the system, but during a visit Thursday to California Univeristy of Pennsylvania, he said the future of 21st-century learning will be transformed by individual choices made along the way — not decisions made in Harrisburg.
