McKeesport school progress updated

McKeesport Area superintendent Dr. Mark Holtzman updated the board this week on the progress of academic goals he and assistant Superintendent Dr. Tia Wanzo set for the district last year.

“A lot of times what happens in these conversations, our school board meetings, we have a lot of rituals and things we have to get done,” Holtzman said, “but I just want to take a minute and just talk a little bit about our academic achievement and what we’re doing to move our district forward.”
