Sewickley Academy bounces Greyhounds

The Greyhounds brought the fight into Monday’s first-round playoff game against perennial power Sewickley Academy, but the Panthers’ offensive power was too much as Monessen couldn’t do enough to pull off the upset in a 5-2 loss.

Monessen head coach Sam Perry acknowledged the challenge that Sewickley Academy posed, but thought his team played admirably.
