Editorial: Safety first this Halloween

IT’S HALLOWEEN SEASON, and many local communities have scheduled trick-or-treat for this weekend and Oct. 31.

That means certain safety measures need to be employed by all those involved. Every year we hear the tips that are offered in order to maintain a safe environment for trick-or-treaters. We hope everyone will take these safety concerns seriously.
