Charleroi man killed in ATV accident in Centerville borough

A 26-year-old Charleroi man died Wednesday after an accident on his all terrain vehicle.
According to Washington County Coroner Tim Warco, Levi J. Mattey was driving an ATV in the intersection of National Pike and Linton Road in Centerville borough just after 4 p.m.
Mattey’s ATV hit a semi truck at the intersection, the coroner said. He was pronounced dead at the scene, just before 5 p.m.
The incident is under investigation by the Centerville borough police department.
Those who assisted at the scene include West Pike Run Township police, state police, Brownsville EMS, Richeyville VFD and Denbo-Vesta 6 VFD.
