Monessen awaits demolition bids

No bids have been submitted for the emergency demolition of a former Monessen firemen’s club.

City administrator/clerk Judith Taylor said following Thursday’s council meeting that bids for the project are scheduled to be opened today. The city has yet to receive any, even though a request for proposals was advertised several weeks ago.
