Author, historian to speak at Civil War Roundtable

Scott Mingus remembers receiving Civil War army men for Christmas when he was little, a gift from his World War II- veteran father who loved military history. Others in his family served as well, which he learned about at a young age.

“From the time I was a little boy, I was learning about our own family’s heritage,” he said. “My great-great-grandfathers fought in the Civil War.”
