3 area districts getting safety grants

Three Mid-Mon Valley school districts are among hundreds in the state that will be receiving “safe schools” grants.

McKeesport Area School District will get a $20,000 state Department of Education 2018-19 Safe Schools Program Grant to be used toward violence prevention and reduction programs.
